Founded just 10 months ago, the Pony Club was created to provide our 49 members with the opportunity to experience the joys and rewards of being part of such a supportive and inspiring community.
We couldn’t be prouder of the success our members have achieved so far, especially at the recent Pony Club Area and Championship events held at Bicton and Offchurch Bury.
Notably, we saw an impressive win at the Bicton 80, as well as our very own Molly Swain, riding Socks, who excelled in dressage and came just shy of the top ten.
The Awards Evening took place at The Bear in Wareham, and we were incredibly fortunate to welcome a very special guest – Olympic legend Victoria Pendleton, a three-time gold medalist and Britain’s most successful female Olympian. Victoria gave an inspiring talk to our members, sharing her experiences of the highs and lows of sport, and offering invaluable advice to the next generation of riders.
A big thank you also goes to Janet Strange and Chris Winterbottom from The Bear in Wareham for adding a touch of glamour to the evening with their delicious canapés. We also appreciate our dedicated coaches – Steph, Chris, Lisa and Sam – for their hard work and commitment.
Thank you to everyone who made the night a success. We’re already looking forward to what next year has in store for our Pony Club family!!
