Livery

The Royal Armoured Corps (RAC) Saddle Club offers full and working livery for civilians and military personnel, with reduced rates for those serving in the military and their dependents.

Full livery at the RAC Saddle Club means no hidden extras — our priority is the horses’ wellbeing and happiness. Livery costs are based on a daily rate, plus food and bedding used (please contact the office for pricing). We do not charge extra for turning horses out or bringing horses in and our qualified staff will hold horses during vets visits. The only added extras include clipping, wormers, use of the hot horse shower and rubber matting in your stable.

Liveries have comprehensive use of all of our facilities when not in use by the Riding School and, with two outdoor schools and an indoor arena, there’s always plenty of options — for more details see our page on ‘Facilities’.

All members of the Saddle Club exhibit great fellowship, helping and competing at club events, adding to the friendly, social camaraderie that is all part of the great atmosphere of the club. While some members compete at BE or BD level, others are happy hackers, and we come in all ages and sizes! If you are thinking of joining us, why not book some lessons, or sign up for a summer camp or a clinic to find out for yourself?
