The children from Wey Valley Academy are continuing to make so much progress with the BHS Changing Lives Through Horses Programme. This week they got to meet three-times Olympic medallist, the cyclist Victoria Pendleton.
Victoria and other Bovington Liveries worked with the children in small groups and individually helping them achieve their next award.
This week even their accompanying teacher, Mr Wright, rode with the children after not being on a horse for 20 years!
The children have been amazing, they have come so far. At the beginning of the course some children were very nervous around the horses and now they are putting on head collars, grooming and riding the horses by themselves! Well done!
