Welcoming Bekah Evans – Alternative Provision Teacher
We are delighted to welcome Bekah Evans to our team as our new Alternative Provision Teacher.
Bekah is a dedicated secondary school teacher with over 20 years of experience, bringing passion, expertise, and unwavering commitment to every learner she supports. She works tirelessly to help young people achieve the best possible outcomes, gaining meaningful qualifications that open doors to their next steps into adulthood.
With a strong background in Computing, Bekah has an excellent track record in delivering Functional Skills in Maths and English at all levels. Her adaptable teaching style and genuine care for her students make her a valued member of our team, supporting learners to grow in confidence, develop essential skills, and achieve their goals.
Bekah also holds postgraduate qualifications in Education, having carried out extensive research into the development of learning and the impact of social media on young people’s mental health. This expertise gives her a unique advantage in providing a personalised, one-to-one approach that supports both academic progress and personal well-being.
In our alternative provision setting, Bekah meets each young person where they are—encouraging them to aim high, overcome challenges, and prepare for a positive and successful future.

We are excited to announce that from September, RAC Saddle Club will be offering Personal Development Qualifications. These GCSE-equivalent courses are open to anyone aged 11+ and are available at:

Level 1 (GCSE grades 1–4)

Level 2 (GCSE grades 5–9)
Each PDQ is assessed against six core life skills, ensuring students not only gain a qualification but also develop vital abilities for life beyond the classroom.
