Earlier this month we were incredibly honoured to welcome HRH The Princess Royal, Princess Anne, in recognition of our work with young people through the BHS Changing Lives Through Horses programme and the new BHS Coaching for All initiative.
Steph had the privilege of sharing her 35 years of experience running Bovington and speaking about the invaluable charity work we do as a self-funding organisation.
During the visit, some of our Changing Lives Through Horses participants showcased the skills they’ve been developing – from horse care and riding to practical and classroom-based projects. To date, we’ve proudly supported 159 children through the programme, and we’re thrilled to announce our new Alternative Provision, offering an educational pathway for young people who are disengaged from mainstream schooling.
Princess Anne wasn’t the only special guest! We were also joined by TV star and BHS President Martin Clunes, along with our ambassadors Olympic cyclist Victoria Pendleton and General Sir Gwyn Jenkins.
A huge thank you to everyone who made the day possible, especially to our Chairman for their continued support.
Thank you to Graham Hunt Photography and to Brandwood Photography, the official photographer on behalf of the British Horse Society for these amazing photographs.
