The RAC Riding and Social Club was re-born in January 2003 and now boasts over a 100 members, who range from liveries, pony club members, riding club students who just enjoy a weekly lesson or hack and also a number of non-riding parents and individuals who just want be associated with this wonderful club.
 
Apart from an association with one of the finest equestrian establishments in this area, membership offers many other benefits.
  • On production of your membership card you can obtain a 10% discount from Purbeck Pets and Equestrian, which can amount to a huge reduction on some purchases (not feedstuffs).
  • Reduced entry fees in all our open events.
  • ‘Members Only’ competitions are arranged on a regular basis.
  • Regular weekend and evening workshops and lectures in order that you can improve your equine knowledge.
  • Opportunities to visit shows and events.. In the last year we have had trips to the Royal Windsor Horse Show, the Household.
  • Cavalry and the Olympia Christmas Show.
  • A regular quarterly newsletter and update of trips and events.
The club now has three arenas available for the use of liveries and club members. In 2004, we opened an additional new 60 x 40 metre outdoor all weather arena. This has been a great asset to the club and allowed us to expand our Club and Open competitions.
 
The cost of membership is £15 per year and is renewable on January 1st yearly. For those who wish to join mid year the cost is £1.50 per month for the remaining months of the year.
